Let me welcome you to the Institute of IR4.0 (IIR4.0), formerly known as IVI

Terlebih dahulu saya inginkan ucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Kepimpinan Tertinggi UKM atas kepercayaan yang diberikan kepasa saya sebagai Pengarah di Institut IR4.0. Saya dengan berbesar hati menerima cabaran sebagai Pengarah dan berharap untuk mempertingkatkan lagi prestasi dan kejayaan Institut IR4.0 ke tahap yang lebih tinggi. Perlantikan ini juga merupakan  satu kehormatan besar dan kesempatan bagi diri saya untuk memimpin institut dalam era  IR4.0 yang kompleks dan dinamik selaras dengan arus perubahan teknologi yang akan kita alami di masa hadapan. Perkara ini menuntut satu tadbir urus yang efisien dan hubungan kerjasama yang baik antara pelbagai pihak termasuk pihak kerajaan, industri, akademia dan masyarakat. Setiap pihak perlu memainkan peranan penting bagi memastikan kelangsungan usaha dalam menjadikan Institut IR4.0 kearah berdaya saing dan seterusnya menjadi penyumbang kepada pembangunan ekonomi negara.

First and foremost, I’d would like to express my gratitude to UKM’s Supreme Leadership for placing their trust in me as Director of the IR4.0 Institute. As Director, I eagerly welcome the challenge and aspire to elevate the IR4.0 Institute’s performance and success to higher places. This assignment is also a great honour and an opportunity for me to lead the institute in the complicated and dynamic era of IR4.0, which corresponds to the current technological change that we will experience in the future. This necessitates effective governance and excellent working relationships among diverse groups, including the government, industry, academics, and society. To ensure continuity, each party needs to play a significant role in making the Institute of IR4.0  competitive and further contributing to the country’s economic development.
